Pop N' Go® FAQs

How much does it weigh and how big is it?

The playpen only weighs 7.2 lbs and it's 49" inches tall from the floor to the top of the netting and 59" inches wide inside. Easily big enough for 2 kids to play in comfortably! It is only 36" inches tall and 8" inches wide when inside of it's carrying bag for your mobile convenience.

Is it safe for sleeping/napping?

For sleeping or napping, we recommend you purchase the mattress accessory (sold separately) and install it into the playpen for either indoor or outdoor use. You could also purchase the mattress cover (also sold separately) to use over the mattress for a softer feel for your child. And we ALWAYS recommend that while your little one is sleeping or napping that you ALWAYS stay nearby and supervise them at all times. Please also refer to the product warnings about not using any other mattress or cover and not putting too many pillows or other items inside the playpen.

Does it include a UV shade cover and stakes to hold it down in the wind?

Yes! A UV Shade Cover, ground and sand stakes (if needed) are included with every order. 

Is the mattress waterproof?

It sure is waterproof! Simply twist the cap to open and let the mattress inflate and twist it to close it up. If your air mattress does not fully inflate after 2-3 minutes, lightly blow into the tab 2 or 3 times. DO NOT force air into the mattress when it is fully inflated as this can cause air bubbles to form. What's the weight limit?

There is not a weight limit, since the bottom of the playpen is flush with the floor when anyone (or anything is in it). Make sure you always place it on a flat, level surface, and you can put as much weight as you would like inside. So make sure to squeeze in their with your little one(s) and have fun! 

What is the return and refund policy?

What made us create this product?

We're parents with young children. And we've been through numerous kids playpens and play yards. All of them are either cheaply made and don't last or are super expensive, heavy, and not portable. There are no really great, lightweight, super easy to use playpens out there. So we decided to fix that problem! 

Can it be used for pets?

Absolutely. Although we've only tried it with dogs and cats. We cannot guarantee it will work well if you have reptiles or other animals but we love them all!

Is this really the BEST playpen in the world?

HOW MUCH DOES IT WEIGH AND HOW BIG IS IT WHEN OPENED UP?

It's only 5 lbs! When opened, the floor base is 39" x 39" and it's 33" tall

HOW BIG IS IT WHEN CLOSED AND CAN I TRAVEL WITH IT?

You can definitely travel with it! When it's closed, it's 27.5" long and only 6" wide.

DOES IT HAVE A SHADE COVER AND CAN YOU SECURE IT TO THE GROUND?

Yes! We include a full UV Shade Cover and ground stakes with every order!

IS THE MATTRESS INCLUDED?

We sell a comfy mattress pad as an add on to your Pop 'N Go, but this is sold separately.

WHAT IS THE WEIGHT/SIZE LIMIT FOR PETS?

There is technically no weight limit, but there is a size limit. When an animal is inside, the floor of the Pop N' Go® Pets is flush with the ground so there is no limit to how much weight can go inside. For example, you could put a 100 lb kettlebell inside with no issue, but not a 100 lb dog. For this reason, we recommend using this product only for small and medium-sized animals (think small and medium-sized dogs, cats, bunnies, etc.). Large dogs (for example Great Danes, Mastiffs, St. Bernards, and others that typically weigh well over 50-60 lbs) may not be suitable for the Pop N' Go® Pets playpen.

CAN THIS BE USED IN PLACE OF A NORMAL CRATE?

Absolutely! Crates can be beneficial and have many different uses. Some of them include getting your pet comfortable in an enclosed environment in case they go the Vet and need to stay in one there. Or helping them feel comfortable alone, or for sleeping. It can also help with potty-training. Our Pop N' Go® Pets Playpen is perfect for many of these things. Make sure to consult a licensed Vet or professional animal trainer for advice.

WHAT MATERIALS ARE USED?

The Pop N' Go® Pets playpen is made with high-grade aluminum and fiberglass framing as well as extra durable nylon, polyester, and mesh for the body. The accessories such as the safety clip and ground stakes are made from plastic and steel. We do not use any harsh chemicals in any of our products.

WILL THE PNG PETS KEEP MY DOG SAFE/COMFY INDOORS AND OUTDOORS?

Absolutely. The Pop N' Go® Pets playpen is designed just for that - to create a safe space for your furry family members to have fun and relax in.

IS IT VENTILATED ENOUGH TO USE OUTDOORS IN HIGH TEMPERATURES?

This is a tricky question! The ventilation of the Pop N' Go® Pets playpen  is excellent! We have mesh siding, holes in the roof, etc. But, for example, a dog in a car with the windows cracked in the middle of summer could still suffer from the heat even though the ventilation is ok! Please do not EVER leave your pet locked inside our product or any other product while outdoors during hot or cold days!! This should be common sense, but we have to say it!

CAN A LITTER BOX BE PLACED INSIDE?

Yes, it can!

CAN I WASH THIS PLAYPEN?

Certainly, the best way is to take it outside and hose it down! If you don't have a hose, simply pick it up and shake out all the dirt and debris, and then wipe it clean with a safe, all-purpose cleaning solution and a rag.

WOULD THIS BE OK FOR SMALL PETS LIKE HAMSTERS, BUNNIES, REPTILES, ETC.?

For most of these small animals, yes. One thing to note, though, there is an open hole at the top. It is covered when you put the Shade cover on, but a reptile such as a lizard (many reptiles like to climb and be up high) may be able to climb out. For this reason, the Pop N' Go® Pets playpen may not be suitable for certain reptiles.

IS THE BOTTOM ATTACHED?

Yes, the entire Pop N' Go® Pets playpen is one piece. The only things that are separate are the shade cover and the ground stakes.

MY DOG LOVES TO JUMP WILL THIS TIP OVER?

In 99% of cases, no. The Pop N' Go® Pets playpen is very stable due to its multi-point frame. Also, when pets are in an enclosed doghouse/cage/playpen, they typically do not "jump." We have also included ground stakes so if you’re outdoors you can make sure it’s anchored down.

WILL MY DOGS/CATS BE ABLE TO RIP THIS TENT?

Believe us, we have seen some of the cutest little animals ever turn into clawing machines! It is highly unlikely that your pet will claw, chew, or tear the Pop N' Go® Pets playpen, HOWEVER, we highly recommend researching some great crate training techniques prior to using so they are comfortable with their new little territory! WILL THIS FIT A PEE PAD?

It should fit most small pee pads, but we'd recommend against using this for a place to pee only. There are so many other great uses than just a place to go pee-pee! Most animals, by nature, do not want to pee where they sleep or relax (and vice versa). So if they are trained only to use the Pop N' Go® Pets playpen as a litter box, they may not want to relax in it. We do think it could be used along with pee pads when you are housing brand new puppies or kittens to keep them safe. Again, please refer to a professional trainer or licensed Vet for recommendations!

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO CLEAN IT?

There are many ways, and with the durable material, you can choose what’s easiest for you! If you have a hose, you can hose it down and leave it in the sun to dry (it should not take long), or you could simply use a wet sponge or wash cloth and wipe it down. We don’t recommend using any harsh chemicals or things such as bleach that could discolor the product and/or cause discomfort for your pet.
