Our Star Pet, Indigo and Her Rescue Story

Are you finding yourself checking out the Pop ‘N Go ® Pets Playpen when you don’t even own a pet? If so, maybe that’s a sign that you should get one! No matter what state you’re in, there are tons of rescues out there just waiting to find their home. Our star pet Indigo was one of them!

Indigo’s Ruff Patch

Although Indigo is currently living in a happy home, her life didn’t exactly start that way. The beginning part of her path is a mystery, beyond the fact that she hails from Raleigh, North Carolina. According to how she was found, it can be assumed that the first humans she encountered weren't so caring. 😔

Indigo was just a few days old when she was found inside of a dumpster. She and three of her littermates were lined up snugly inside of a cardboard box. It’s hard to say why they were placed in that box and left to fend for themselves, but it’s clear that someone had placed them there. 

Indigo Beats the Blues

Don’t worry reader — happy times are ahead! It’s a good thing Indigo and her siblings were placed there, because they were discovered by sweet and caring humans that wanted to help their cause. These good samaritans immediately made it a goal to find foster parents and volunteers to help with bottle feeding. Because these pups were so young and without their mom, they needed plenty of extra attention to even make it out okay.

Luckily, they did! In fact, it wasn’t long before Indigo found her person. One of the bottle feeders instantly fell in love with her, and decided to take her under their wing forever. 

She’s a California Girl ☀️🐶

Indigo now spends her time safely napping and soaking up the sun in her Pop ‘N Go ® Pets Playpen, the backyard, park, or wherever else her adventures lead her. She’s living out this great life in her happy home in Southern California, and even has her own Instagram!
